A Look at Recent Events

We love to connect, celebrate, and uplift one another. Take a peek into our recent events and the joy we share as Gems

A Decade of Purpose:
GemVersary Celebration

Virtuous Ladies of God joyfully celebrated an incredible milestone, 10 years of Sisterhood, Service and Ministry, during our three day Color Purple Conference at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Chicago.

Gems traveled from near and far to reunite for a memorable weekend filled with fellowship, inspiration, worship, and celebration. We kicked off the weekend with warm welcome as sisters embraced one another, reconnected, and enjoyed a creative arts and crafts session that set the tone for a weekend of joy and sisterhood.

The celebration continued with an empowering plenary session, followed by an elegant dinner and dance where  we reflected on the journey God has brought us through over the past decade. It was an evening filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, celebrations, and unforgettable memories.

On Sunday, we gathered one final time for a spirit-filled worship service, giving thanks to God for his faithfulness throughout the years and praying over the future of VLG. As the conference came to close, each Gem departed encouraged, refreshed, and inspired to continue walking in purpose and making an impact in her community.

Our 10- Year GemVersary was more than a celebration, it was a beautiful reminder of what God can accomplish through women united in faith, love, and service. Here's to the next chapter of growth, purpose, and sisterhood!

A Night of Impromptu Worship

The Night of Impromptu Worship was nothing short of divine. What began as a simple invitation to “come be filled” quickly turned into a powerful outpouring of God’s presence. Women arrived carrying tambourines, worship flags, and open hearts, ready to encounter the Holy Spirit without agenda or script.

From the very first song, there was freedom in the atmosphere. Laughter, tears, and heartfelt praise filled the room as sisters sang, prayed, and shared what God placed on their hearts. It was a true reminder that worship doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful, it just has to be real.

Throughout the evening, the Spirit moved in spontaneous moments of prayer, testimony, and song. Every voice carried a story. Every gesture of worship became a spark that ignited another. Together, we created a sacred space for healing, release, and refreshing.

We left renewed, reminded that when we make room for God, He always shows up.

Walk It Out - A Prayer Experience
Chicago, IL - Chapter

On a warm and Spirit-filled day, women from all walks of life gathered in unity for Walk It Out: A Prayer Experience hosted by Virtuous Ladies of God, Inc. Set against the peaceful backdrop of nature,  this non-traditional prayer walk became a sacred space for healing, release, and restoration.

From the joyful Ice Breaker lap that sparked new sisterly connections, to the deeply personal Healing & Restoration Lap, where women released their burdens and walked with purpose, God's presence was undeniable. Our Prayer Leaders stood in the gap, guiding intentional prayer over every release card with compassion and power.

The experience concluded with a reflective picnic, allowing us to rest, share testimonies, and encourage one another in a spirit of peace and sisterhood.

It was more than an event, it was a divine encounter in motion.

We left lighter, stronger, and more connected than we came. To God be the glory !

Upcoming Event

Virtual Agape Connection

The Gems of Virtuous Ladies of God, Inc. are preparing for a special virtual gathering centered on agape love, the intentional, selfless love that strengthens and sustains sisterhood.

Our Virtual Agape Connection will be an evening of heartfelt encouragement, creativity, and joyful fellowship. Together, we will engage in interactive activities such as “Love or Nah,” “Whose Love Note Is This?,” and our Secret Admirer reveal, all designed to celebrate personality, connection, and laughter.

The night will also include intentional breakout-room Agape Connections, where sisters will pour into one another with affirmation, support, and empowerment. As we craft and listen to love letters written in honor of one another, we will be reminded that sisterhood is not just a word, it is an experience.

This members-only gathering reflects our continued commitment to nurturing meaningful relationships rooted in love, service, and ministry.

Thanksgiving Craft & Cobbler

This, Thanksgiving season, Virtuous Ladies of God, Inc. had the honor of serving the residents of Bria of Forest Edge Nursing Home through a joyful community outreach centered on gratitude, creativity, and connection.

This outreach reflected our commitment to service and our belief that love, presence, and compassion can make a lasting impact. It was truly a blessing to pour into the residents as they prepare for the holidays and to to remind them that they are seen, valued, and cherished.

Gem Spotlight
Jacqueline Schooler

Some women don’t have to say much to shine, their spirit speaks for them. Jackie is one of those women.

For nine beautiful years, Jackie has faithfully walked as a Ruby Gem within Virtuous Ladies of God, Inc., now serving as a proud Gem-at-Large member.

Jackie believes she was originally selected for membership because of her love for God and His people, and that love is evident in how she shows up. She carries a servant’s heart and has a natural way of encouraging and uplifting others, shining the love of Jesus Christ in everyday moments.

Outside of VLG, Jackie stays active in her church community, helping organize events that bless others and make a tangible impact. She doesn’t just attend, she serves. She contributes. She pours.

In this current season, Jackie is focused on protecting her peace, growing in patience and discernment, and moving forward with intention. That kind of growth doesn’t happen overnight, it’s cultivated. And she’s doing the work.

When she’s not serving or reflecting, you might find her making candles, singing, or line dancing, because joy and creativity are part of her glow too.

What she values most about being a member of Virtuous Ladies of God, Inc. is being connected to women who genuinely love God and being part of a sisterhood rooted in faith, service, love, and mutual support. Her guiding scripture says it best:

“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14

And that’s exactly how she lives.

Jackie, thank you for being steady, sincere, and spirit-led. Whether near or far, your light travels. And we are grateful you’re part of this sisterhood.
